About NevadaCity.Rocks

NevadaCity.rocks is an interactive social Events and Entertainment Guide and Calendar providing a rich visual experience with full profiles of Performing Artists, Venues, Hosts, and Events, with bios, photos and galleries, upcoming events, links, and optional member interaction. It is being developed initially for Nevada City and Nevada County.

Although the focus is Arts & Entertainment, NevadaCity.rocks covers fine arts and virtually all community events.

More than just a calendar, Nevada City Rocks makes it fun to explore and discover new Artists and Venues, and find events that often fly under the radar. Each Artist, Venue, and Host, has full profiles and optional photo galleries. You can choose to follow and be notified, or browse and be surprised by all that is going on in our coummunity. Visitors can browse all information! Or signup to make contributions! Member participation is a central feature of the site!

The site will always be free for all performing artists to list their events and promote themselves, and will always be free for community members to browse. I hope that some who are able will become sponsors or supporters.
